Full Bio Christopher  M. Long is an all-around filmmaker, able to do many film-making tasks, from producer, writer, director, actor, music composer, editor, camera operator, lighting, you name it he can most likely do it. He's been making films since the early 90's, and prior to that, he was a musician. He mostly participates in low-budget films both feature-length and short films, and is now looking to up the level of budgeting and scope of the films he makes. He is a filmmaker rooted in horror, thrillers, action, and—at key moments—drama and dark drama. His creative identity is shaped by the gritty, shadow-soaked atmosphere of 1970s and 1980s grindhouse and exploitation cinema. While these influences define much of his work, he isn’t afraid to branch out, embracing pulse-pounding popcorn energy when the story calls for it. That blend of raw grit and high-octane entertainment has become a signature of his evolving style.

Across thirty-two intense years of creativity, he has completed more than 175 films, ranging from small experimental shorts to full low-budget features. His visual aesthetic leans heavily on textured 1980s grain and the charmingly rough, handmade feel of 1970s cinema. Much of his work has been created independently—written, shot, directed, edited, and scored by him alone—as both a testament to his dedication and a means of sharpening every tool in his craft.

Now, after decades of relentless creation, he’s focused on building larger, more ambitious projects. His goal: to take the gritty sensibilities that shaped him and elevate them into bold, professionally scaled productions.

His main inspirations when it comes to action is Kurt Russell, Charles Bronson, Don Johnson, James Stewart his film making inspirations come from John Carpenter, Alfred Hitchcock,  Sam Raimi, Andy Sideris, William Lustig. His favorite actress is Playmate turned actress Kym Malin, and he wrote three songs about her, Dream angel miss may 1982, Dream Angel Miss may 1982, and she's picture perfect miss may 1982 as a trilogy of songs.

Some of His hightlights throughout the years include the haunting dead series of short films from 2013 to 2023 four in total, the shrink sereis about a demented shrink 5 in total from 2014 to 2023,  The dead hauunt sereis 4 in total from 2012 to 2023 all short films,  Some of his earlier works like the shifter (1995) and demon in the mirror (1994) and even his first short film Sundown (1993), He's even made some feature length films such as Pure Evil (2016), Curse of Morningwood Drive (2017), The hitman's dark passage (2021), and the two with deadly intent films (2021) and (2022). In all, he's made over 175 films both shorts and feature-length. As of November 2025 his latest film Feature-length Nightmare games has just been completed.

Throughout the years he has started several production comapnies including; CML Productions, Guardian Productions, Screaming Skulls Productions LLC, Touch of Vengeance Productions, Sleerik H Productions, and Christopher M. Long Productions.

Christopher M. Long creates films out of sheer passion for storytelling—driven by an almost relentless need to bring fierce, visceral stories to life. He gravitates toward twisted tales, heavy narratives of crime and passion, possession by monsters, revenge, tormented souls, and horrors both human and demonic. His work is consistently grim, gritty, gothic, and horror-oriented, often draped in a raw undercurrent of action.

These are the cinematic elements that move him: the dark grit of the ’70s and ’80s, the uneasy textures, the shadow-drenched aesthetics, and the sense of dread that never plays games with its audience. His films embrace pure uneasiness.

Audiences can expect horror delivered like a roller-coaster—sometimes through slow-burn tension and lingering atmospheric dread, other times through explosive, action-packed moments where the stakes rise by the second. Whether it’s blood-drenched sequences of terror or dramatic, emotion-charged dialogue, his work aims to grab the audience and refuse to let go. He's just trying to bring back the greatness of the past and infuse it with the modern day.

I draw long-term inspiration from the bold, unapologetic filmmaking ethos of companies like Canon Films, where genre storytelling was treated with energy, speed, and creative fearlessness. My future ambition is to build a production label in that tradition—lean, aggressive, genre-focused, and dedicated to delivering high-impact thriller, action, and horror films. My goal is to establish a modern studio model that captures the spirit of Canon’s output while elevating it with contemporary craft, stronger narrative foundations, and long-term franchise strategy. I’m building toward becoming a new-generation genre studio force—an evolution of the Canon legacy for today’s market.

Flame-thrower

Logline: When some behind the scenes corruption gets an arson trial tossed, a masked vigilante with an ax to grind and a flamethrower brutally stalks down those involved one by one and brutally kills them.

Genre: Mystery suspense thriller with horror elements

Summary

Hellblazer (Flamethrower) is a gritty, pulse-pounding homage to 80s noir and slasher thrillers, blending mystery, horror, and raw emotion in a tale of vengeance and corruption. The story follows a masked vigilante who exacts deadly retribution on those responsible for an arson that claimed countless lives, a crime swept under the rug by corrupt officials. As the bodies pile up, a weary detective grapples with personal demons, haunted by the death of his brother in the blaze, while his abrasive partner and a tenacious reporter complicate the hunt for the elusive killer. The reporter’s relentless pursuit of the truth creates explosive tensions with the police, whose disdain for her interference threatens to derail their investigation at every turn.

Amid the chaos, the detective’s surviving brother becomes ensnared in the vigilante’s schemes, framed as the culprit behind the grisly murders. As evidence mounts against him, the detective must navigate a web of lies, betrayals, and half-truths to uncover the real killer’s identity while contending with his own fractured relationships and the weight of his guilt. With atmospheric visuals, a synth-heavy soundtrack, and a relentless pace, Hellblazer (Flamethrower) delivers a brutal yet thought-provoking exploration of justice, corruption, and the devastating impact of loss.

A general theme for Hellblazer (Flamethrower) would be "The Cost of Justice and the Destructive Power of Vengeance."

The film explores the blurred lines between justice and revenge, illustrating how corruption, grief, and unchecked rage can twist the pursuit of accountability into something destructive. Each character embodies different facets of this theme: the masked vigilante seeks vengeance at all costs, disregarding the collateral damage; Detective John Andrews struggles to balance his personal losses with his duty to uphold the law; and Brent Andrews is a tragic reminder of how injustice can destroy lives long after the original crime. The story also delves into themes of trust, betrayal, and the moral compromises individuals make when trying to right profound wrongs, questioning whether true justice can ever be achieved in a broken system.

"Fallen Evil"

Horror/Suspense/Thriller mixed with some action elements.

Logline: A roadtrip becomes a bloody battle of ssrvive for a group of friends when they come across a town destroying malevolent being.

Summary is a pulse-pounding horror-thriller drenched in 80s nostalgia, where terror begins with an unsuspecting farmer who discovers a mysterious meteorite. Blasted in the face with a strange, alien goo, the farmer transforms into a demented killer, murdering his wife and anyone who gets in his way. Within a week, his quiet rural town spirals into an unseen nightmare, corrupted by a malevolent force that twists its inhabitants into ghoulish monstrosities. The eerie transformation remains hidden from the audience until a group of friends on a road trip stumbles upon the outskirts of the cursed town. Stopping at a rundown motel, the group begins to notice strange, unsettling behavior from the locals. As they venture deeper, the creeping weirdness explodes into full-blown horror—diners full of corpses, violent attacks, and a relentless pursuit by increasingly deranged townsfolk.

When two of their friends vanish after entering the heart of the town, the remaining members, armed with desperation and determination, band together to uncover the truth. Their search leads them to the deranged farmer's ranch, where the grotesque origins of the town’s hellish state are revealed. With the help of the seemingly last sane person in town, a grizzled police chief, they face off against the evil force. But the final confrontation is anything but straightforward as the ranch's horrors come alive—featuring a possessed wife, deadly minions, and the shocking betrayal of the police chief, who’s under the farmer’s control. In a chaotic battle for survival, the friends must navigate through the twisted labyrinth of the ranch, fighting their way to destroy the source of the evil before it spreads further, culminating in a final showdown that’s as brutal as it is heart-pounding.
